We are officially halfway through the project. My favorite project.
Knoxville weekend.
Tree swings so high you feel like you're flying.
Baby lambs named Mary.
Jurassic zucchini plants.
A nursery so real that the girls were sure Peter Pan would stop by for a visit.
Friends ranging in ages 1-89.
Love stories.
Horror stories.
"Happy Birthday" played by harmonica.
Food and wine that goes on and on until the laughter wears you out in the wee hours.
Homemade fishing poles and the catfish they caught.
Outdoor fires.
Swims in the rain.
Dogs with underbites.
Babies with big appetites.
Drenched boat rides and squeals of mixed emotions.
It was the most American way I could think of spending the Independence Day weekend.
