Neve is eagerly teaching herself to read. This makes me very happy.
Today I overhear her sound out this sentence, except she confused the soft "u" for a soft "i" sound.
This cheap humor was lost on my children (thank goodness), but was clearly enough to spark an intertest for me to revive the 'ole blog.
Forgive my absence, for I am not a dick. Or a duck.

At least it was NOT a duck, or a hairy duck. I am inspired by this kind of humor, as well. I teach astronomy just so I can say, "Uranus".

Uranus makes me laugh every time. So sad the things I find humor in. My Owen just found out why I laugh at the word....and taught his older brothers!
