the pomegranates on the mantel worked!  kate had a beautiful baby boy named clyde only a few days later.

This was the first year that I've spent away from family for Thanksgiving.  And despite how much I missed every sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle, parent and grandparent, I had a really nice time with friends.  These are the very best variety of friends too. And the food!  I mean, did you see the food?!
